Uses and effects:
D-ornithine belongs to unnatural amino acids, has unique biological characteristics, and plays an important role in the synthesis of multi-brain drugs. D-ornithine can be used to synthesize tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases, which can specifically inhibit matrix metalloproteinases activity and is used to treat inflammatory diseases. D-ornithine is incorporated into some amino acid antibiotics, and the newly formed drugs are difficult to be degraded by bacterial enzymes, which can reduce the generation of bacterial resistance. D-ornithine and its derivatives can also be used in the synthesis of pollution-free new amino acid pesticides.
